Here it has been 8years ad 2 weeks since my last cig. Well here is the story and I need a little more moral support I think. Due to the long work hours. Stress at work, my HA cylce getting worse...(not that is ever stopped butif deffentatly gets worse and better in a deffinate cycle of sorts) The hubby without a job and bills and everyother fucking thing going crazy, and just feelling like absolute shit.... Well friday I stop to get gas and leave me purse in the car. I ask for $10 on 7 and a pack of Larlbro lights 100. And the gal says she needs to card me. WTF I am 33 years old. Guess I should take it as a compliment. Well anyway I just took the gas and did not go back in and get the smokes. But fuck I wanted one. Still do. Just wanted to tell those of you that even when you do quit there will be times then you will still want one. It is one of the hardest things to quit. Stay strong... You all are in my thoughts. -Tia

Oh Tia, I'm so glad you didn't go and get those smokes!! Smoking will not HELP your situation...it will just ADD to your problems. Congrats on being strong...I know ya want one, but it won't "solve" anything. Take care and I got ass kicking vibes goin up to ya!! Mast

Day 12, here. Congrats on not adding to your monetary and physical problems, Tiannia. Sickarettes aren't going to help anything at all. (although I've been sitting here craving the damn things all day long...)

seriously.... A punching bag in your house would be a great stress relief for you..... NOT YOUR HUSBAND..... a real punching bag Or kick boxing.. you need something to relieve your stress. One puff off of a cig will just piss you off even more... and make you dizzy... and probably make ya puke.... blah blah blah... But honestly... you will regret it sooooooo bad if you go back to smoking. Good luck to you.. ~ Lisa

Listen, You've managed for over 8 years without something that gives you nothing but a cough, smelly breath, wastes money and helps to make you sick in the long run. Why have one now and fuck up those 8 years. Jeepgun's right. You did the right thing by not adding to your problems. Well done Jeepgun!!! (12 days is bloody amazing!) I stop as of tomorrow at 2.30pm GMT and I wish beyond hope that I can say I left the smokes in the shop rather than ruin all that hard work. Keep it up. James

Tia, CONGRATS gal on being strong. Your doing a GREAT job gal I for one am proud of ya!! Even though I smoke I give all of those folks whom have quit 2 thumbs up for a job well done!!! Its hard gal but you CAN MAKE IT!! When you feel the stress building getta baseball bat and find a nice BIG tree and WACK the hell out of it!! Thats what I do when the stress gets to me to the point I want to choke the life outta someone. If I had a place for a punching bag it would be mounted already!! I have the "dont want to smoke" vibes going for ya hun!!! Best wishes, Leesa

Frickin addition is what is called. Good job, Tia. I thought today would be the day I quit. Maybe tomorrow. Frank, 12 and counting. Keep the faith. I wish I had the strength that you and Tia are showing. TomM

| Great job Frank. You know I had it easy actually when i first quit cause I got a call from the docs with results saying I was pregnant with my daughter. Actually it is a cheaters way of stopping. But I was going to be damned if something I was doind to myself was going to hurt my child. (My mother smoked 2 packs a day with me and i firmly believe that I was predisposed to being a smoker because of it.) But as soon as she was born, I jonesed really bad.
