HSG Chat is a place cluster heads and their supporters can go to talk and get to know each other. A place, where you can relax some, and joke a little and forget your problems.
It should always be a place for support.
I been reading the logs and HSG chat has become a place of nasty talk, cyber sex, and dirty gossip. HSG was not made for that. ENOUGH! If you want to talk Nasty, and you want to cyber, and you want to gossip. I ask that you use another chat room, or MSN or some instance messenger for that.
Have enough respect for yourself and others to keep it clean.

I get kicked offline 10 times jus tryin to read my mail....so chat is not for this wounded retarded machine......but dirty talk is human nature.......esp late nite and doubt anyone ment anything FOUL about it. The gossip part could hurt someone tho........but it's everywhere ! Some chat rooms won't permit it and will kick you out permanently. Bill, every chatroom is logged, and the logs are examined by the chatmasters. It's as simple as that. It's one way to make sure the rules are followed. Now, revealing what is in the logs would be another story. I'm sure Elaine and Michelle have the integrity not to do that. You will be missed.

Chat and forum sites may be logged, but most of the time, those logs are only used if there is a complaint, to either prove or disprove the complaint, and determine the proper corrective action. The webmaster will then contact the offender directly and privately if possible. Actively reading the logs on a regular basis is entirely up to the webmaster of the site.
The problem that some may have with this thread is the fact that the webmistress of HSG has decided to publicly admit that she actively monitors the logs, and have threatened to punish any users that do anything that she considers offensive. Such a general and public warning could cause many to be afraid to chat there at all because either they may say something offensive unintentionally, or they don't like the idea of everything they say being logged and monitored.
Of course... As I said, Elaine has every right to actively monitor the logs of HSG chat, and declare what is and is not acceptable on her site, but in my opinion, her post may not have been the best way to deal with the situation.

Your damn right I read the logs expecilly after recieving several letters of complaints. It is very plainly stated that the logs are read, if people would take the tme to read. Like I said if you want to talk smut and stuff go else where ITS for support of people with all types of headaches, there is a difference in joking and haveing a good time and the stuff that has been going on.
If no one goes to chat that is fine with me. It been there its been paid for by me and worked by Michelle at no cost to any of you. It was given to you all to use to support each other, not call each other very *friendly* persons ect... Take this post any way you want . I just a soon the chat room stay empty as to have the kind of crap thats been going on in there.
