Hi all I am the one that just got his first O2 tank and my mask sucks. So what I have just been Experimenting with is just using the hose directly. My question is, is this dangerous or not ? At least now I am getting 100% O2 and not half air. cheers, Yogi

The only risk that I know of, is you risk the chance of aborting a ch. You should be fine.

| Yep. You risk relief. I do it from the hose. The mask is like the facehugger from Alien.

Dave - please come over to OUCH Canada - we can hook you up with a proper mask. http://www.clusterheadaches.ca - we have sufferers in your area. Seriously - please register over there and I'll make sure I put you in touch with someone who can make sure you get the right mask. Promise?

Not much risk with a regulator, especialy a medical regulator.A welding regulator or no reg, could be fatal because of the presures involved. It is possible to in fact blow up your lungs.Be careful.Be smart, get the right mask!

If your not careful with turning the reg on and off you risk 02 escaping into the room and saturating everything in it...light a smoke and BOOM!!! Listen to Margi and register at CAN-OUCH to get the right mask. ................................jonny
