Behold The hand is numb and it is not good!

Whereupon the first day after the waking moments of surgery I found that my hand could again feel and this sensation was good. And behold the healers were praised above all others. Whereupon the second & third day after the waking moments of surgery I found that could again feel and the day and the sensation was good. And again the healers were praised. Where upon the forth day after the waking moments of surgery the sensation that was highly favored and that did cause great joy did flee from me, and I wept bitterly. Cries and lamentations ascended to the healers. Crying woe woe why hast thou deceived me? What hast thou done? Why have ye led me to taste these sweet sensations only to rip them from me. And behold I was put on hold.

I'm going to believe (at least for the time being) that this is simply part of the healing process, and that feeling will return in short order and you can once again rejoice. Keep us posted! Redd

I am sorry to hear this. Hopefully, as has been suggested, the cause is normal post operative inflamation and feeling will return soon. Keeping the healing prayers and vibes going. Gator

Ken, I know that frightens you...but it could very well be post -op inflammation..really and truly! Take it to the most exalted healers, and do not STAND for hold....and reach for your answers...and rejoice once again.... and inhale, and exhale..and repeat as necessary... Cathi

Ken, Hopefully it's just part of the healing process. I would think that having the feeling back immediately after the surgery is a good thing. The docs told me that damaged nerves will regenerate for up to about two years......unfortunately that was 8 years ago. But you just got out of the hospital so stay positive my friend, it's way too early to start worrying. Jim

Oh ye of little faith... Greetings, sorry I've been scarce lately, not feeling well and doing the slave to the grind thing TRYING desperately to find more money in my employment. Anyhow, I would tend to agree that it is probably a result of inflamation somewhere, dunno where but it may be so anyhow. A Typical knee injury for a football player if it is of the type that one could recover from takes two full years to heal 100% to regain full potential playing power...albeit not probably what you want to hear at this point, but all taken in context please. I mean to say that perfect instant recovery is more of a miracle than a reality in most cases. Even the least injured of athletes goes through horrific rehab and cross training to recover from the simplest of injuries. keep yer focus Commander...all in it due time. best wishes... Ramon
