Slamming my head in the door for amusement!

Let's see, where to begin.... Ah, haven't been able to take any Trex since the ER Doc suggested I wait until I see my G/P so having to just ride out attacks old school fashion. Right now I am in MAJOR pain as I have a massive kidney infection to the point they have almost shut down and therefore can't take ANY meds whatsoever! My sis in law freaked when she saw how swollen my legs and ankles are from retaining water, and now all I can drink is cranberry juice (blech!) and water water water. I took my TV to a electronics repair place the other day and they reccommended it to the nearest dumpster. So now I am going through MASSIVE TV withdrawls, and am about to hang myself by the cable wire! I was showing a friend some convention pics and when I saw one of me I was like "God am I that fat?" He said that the camera can add 10 pounds to your look, so I asked him "How many cameras took that photo?" I can't sit or stand for too long as it kills my lower back in the kidneys area, and you know who just can't wait to get me horizontal again, as the beast likes to plummel me when I try to sleep or lie down. I didn't realize how much pain I have actually been in until I had to stop taking my meds... It should be illegal to be in this much pain!!! I was supposed to go to my brothers house yesterday - didn't make it. A friend came by later in the evening, I opened the door and I guess my face said it all, and so he said he'll come back when I feel better. Shortly after my TV died, my pet rock committed suicide by jumping out the window. Then the mother of all curses: I always joke to everybody that even without a stitch of clothing on, I'm not naked if I have my watch on. However, if I am fully clothed and don't have my watch on, I feel totally naked. Can ya guess what just bit the dust on me? That one is easy though - $2 for a watch battery. There are a couple of people expecting packages from me that I can't ship due to insufficient funds. Did I mention my head hurts? It's like the beast is saying "ha ha, fuck you - you can't stop me now biatch!" Don't ask how many times I've used Trex since being told not to. Gotta go...can't sit upright any longer. In Pieces, Carl D

Rats Carl. Sorry to hear about all this. Like Ziara, you seem to have the little Al Capp Joe Blstpfk character and his black cloud, over your head. So far as TV, unless you're into Olympics or politics, you ain't missing much. Seriously, I know how it is. The damn dog I was sitting for, messed up my remote. There is no way I'm getting off my ash to flip the channel. That's asking way too much. Stay the course Carl and rant away. Charlie

Carl! Dude! Wish there was something I could do to ease your pain. It sucks to watch someone suffer so much and to be helpless to do anything. I've done the cranberry juice thing. I like cranberry juice, but after more than a couple glasses that's it for a while. Get me your address and I'll send you a new pet rock. I'll put a leash on this one so he can't get away. Fat? You? Huh! Don't talk to me about being fat. I'm twice the man I was 15 years ago. Literally. Hang in there, bro. Vent to your family here whenever you need to. We're here for you. Gator

Carl, as for the TV, have a couple people keep an eye out for one at a yard sale or garage sale. I've found lots of TV's that way, and they work quite well from anywhere around $5-$30. Depends on how old, and the size of the TV. Hope things get better for you real soon, it's never good to hear the despiration of a fellow ch'er... take care, mel

| LMAO......at least you still have a sense of humor. You know, thats required in order to be a clusterhead! Sorry you're having such a rough time, Carl. After meeting you in Nashville.....I now can relate to your posts. I'm in cycle too......I hate it, but I am determined to not give in. Thank goodness for Excedrin Migraine and Melatonin! It don't stop the CH, but it damn sure cuts down on the nighttime hits. Lots of vibes to ya from Texas, sweetie. Hang in there! Jean

| Jean's right Carl- I know you're really playing hell right now but the fact that you still maintain a sense of humor shows a lot of character! Check your PMs dude. ..................................alley

I'm doing better today, and actually got some work done. Though I'm sick of guzzling tall glasses of water every hour to flush the ole system. Got the legs acting funny on me again today, but then I am learning to expect it whenever the weather changes. The beast has only been hitting me at night and when I try to lie down or sleep, but reared its ugly head TWICE this afternoon. I'm hoping that is just a fluke and that I'm not getting ready to go the 6-10 dances a day again. I'm not that tough to take THAT again, especially when I can't use what has been my only salvation for the last year. Before using Trex, I spent over 5 years of just riding out attacks and.... not gonna think about that right now. Just filling my head with fun thoughts of bunnies and flowers and mushroom clouds filling the blue skies. Thanks for the support and vibes guys. It means alot to me to know I have peeps here that truly understand. Still daydreaming of Nashville, Carl D
