Jeep, thanks hon! You'll have to let me know how Julia's 1st day went. Mark, do dads cry on their kids first day of school like a lot of moms do? You'll have to also let me know how the 1st day went. Oh vig, what beautiful flowers! And wouldn't you know it, Lilys are my favourite . mel

Here in Tennessee, they have a huge horse show that runs for two weeks, so what they do, (and I think it has more to do with federal funding), is bring the kids to school for a week, and then they are out of school for two weeks, and then they go back and resume the normal school year. It makes no sense to me, but that's the way it is. Anyway, it looks like Julia has a really good teacher this year, so we're excited.
