It appears that the Beast has discovered that I am uncovered with insurance and am forced to fight him head on. I have a total of 2 NS and stat dose (which with the tip to the left, 4 HA. I fear using those up acuase I know that I will infact have worse HA's in the next 5 months. But so far this weekend I am currently having 6-8 a day that range from k5 up. I was hoping that somehow I wold be able to fly under his radar and stick with my 2 a day and get by, but I was not htat lucky it seems. I guess I am better off them when I was getting 12+ a day, felt like I was going insane, but I just keep hoping htat they dont get worse. I Have to be very strong.... And today my son is 2. I will be strong for my children. Please send what vibes you can. PF Wishes my friends. -Tia

So sad to hear of your suffering more and having to make that terrible choice of which hit to treat and which hit to ride. Heartless bastard. This has been a really bad weekend for a lot of people, probably because of the hurricanes. Maybe when the weather levels out so will your attacks. In the mean time draw strength from your cluster family. OH NO!!! Not the "Terrible Twos!" My two that are still home are in the "Terrible Teens." Don't even think you're gonna get a break in that aspect for the next 16+ years. Wishing you strength for the next 16 years and pain free today. Vibes for you my friend. Gator

Heres something a little more practical than vibes. Contact Glaxo/Smith Klein's patient advocate program. They may be able to provide you with meds cost free if you are without insurance.

Gator, funny you mention the weather, I live in Clearwater Fl. area and Charlie had my head going. I have been mostly pf for the last 8 months due to verapamil ( 640 m aday), but the strong shadows were rough till the strom passed. I have always had trouble during Hurricane season. At least I don"t feel like I am crazy. Mustang

Need More Imitrex? If you need more Imitrex than your insurance company will provide and your doctor is willing to prescribe, you can contact GlaxoSmithKline directly. They have a division called "Reimbursement Resource Center" (the name implies you have to pay up front, but that is not the case). Call them at 1-800-745-2967 option #4, give them the information they ask for, your doctor's name & number, insurance company info, etc. and they will assign you a case worker who will contact your insurance company and hopefully get them to increase the number of doses

Happy birthday to your son, Tiannia. Sorry to hear that the Beast has come a-knockin'. It looks like you have some good suggestions, so I guess I'll just give you one of these, since I had a few extra lying around: [O|||||O]

Vibes from Indiana headed your way Tia !! I think the 'patient assistance program' that Glaxco has offers up to 10 boxes of Trex per month. I was on it before w/ my neuro's help ... but thats all we could get. It's still better than none ! Unsolved

Hey Tia, I have a few injections lying around and my next round with the beast should be next Spring, so if you need them just let me know and I can send them to you. I know a few isn't many, but it's better than nothing.
