Maybe it was just a coincidence that the CH stopped at the same period of time that you took these antibiotics.
Clusters are NOT caused by a stomache bacteria of any kind. One reason I know this is back in 2001 I got very very sick and was given some very heavy antibiotics to fight the infection, including Tetracycline and Zithromax.
I eventually got rid of the infection, however the CH's remained. Been chronic since 02/98 with no end in sight.
Unlike Migraines, which can be triggered by certain foods, particularly MSG, Cluster headaches have no food allergen trigger. Glad you are painfree, but I am certain even the experts will disagree with your hypothesis.

Really? I am sorry to once again disagree with you, but I have met these people and yes, they do have CH. They also have an intolerance for know-it-alls who claim to have a 'cure' to the extreme pain we deal with everyday.
REAL CH SUFFERERS also do not like to be insulted, as we have some pent up anger from dealing with the beast, so don't be surprised at any verbal attacks - especially when you pass judgment on people you don't even know. So please do us all a favor and point your mouse cursor to the X in the upper right hand corner, click on it, and then go fuck yourself. You don't fuck with a persons family, and that is what we are. Why you may ask? Because WE ARE real sufferers.

Read my post again. I also took antibiotics to no avail befo9re this. You need the combination of the 3 different antibiotics taken together for 21 days. Ask any doctor what causes these headaches? No known cure. So give mine a try. Hell I'm not asking anything in return. And by the way, it does work. Your choice.

DDirlam, you got off easy by the looks of things.
One thing you mentioned... taking antibiotics to "give it a try"? And 3 at a time no less? I did a little search on h. pylori and there's a forum http://www.helico.com/index.htmlwhere there is mention of the fact that taking those antibiotics can upset your stomach flora making your condition worse. Taking antibiotics just in case is not exactly a healthy practice on prevention.
To boot, none of the posts on category "weird symptoms" even make mention of headache to any degree resembling cluster headache. There isn't any mention of it either in the other main sections that would indicate h. pylori. If the therapy you mentioned was a "cure", I think some of the leading doctors in cluster research might have addressed this possibility by now.
As someone said, it sounds more like your cycle ended. It would be interesting to see if you eventually reported back here to say that your clusters returned. Then again, they may never return, which is possible with clusters anyway.
Why don't you write to those doctors doing cluster headache research and tell them about your experience?
I'd bet they'd have an interesting reaction to that. They probably don't get to laugh much with all the work they put in.
