Very slow updates today...

I seem to be having a hard time getting anything from this web site to load in a decent amount of time today.
I'm not having any problems on any other web site. Loading or refreshing pages from here is seeming to take for ever though.
I'm sitting literally feet away from 3 T1 connections and I have checked our network and it seems to be OK.
Is anyone else having this problem???

Yep its slow today. Ya gotta considerer though. Its summer in Georgia (US) and really muggy. No self respecting Southerner wants to move fast in that weather, and Conepuppy is in Atlanta after all.

I have a DSL connection. It's taking 20-25 seconds to load pages on this site, compared to 2-3 normally. Damn, I'd forgotten how dial-up feels!
I don't think you can blame it on the weather, though. I live in the southern suburbs of Atlanta. The humidity is up- 94%, but due to the hurricanes off the coast and the rain they're bringing, the temp is down- 72 degrees! It's not raining here presently, but was earlier today. I'm sure we'll get plenty more before this is over!
The few other sites I have been on today have loaded normally. I will try others just to see.

Yeah, I guess you get spoiled. 2 - 3 seconds. I wouldn't know what to do if pages loaded that fast.

I don't know how you can stand to spend any time at all on line.
I told my wife I refused to get an ISP at home until we got DSL.
She gave in.
