As once again, I am not sleeping, legs hurt like hell - but can still walk at least. Been awake since Monday night and am miserable. When I try to lie down I just toss, turn and tear up the bed. I think the Fibro is what is keeping me awake along with RLS. On the upside, I did finish a new chapter in the book. I'm not going to read or edit it right now though. I'll wait until I have had rest and am clear headed enough to think. The CH's were getting less and less, but now seem to be picking up to thier usual 3-5 a day/night pace again. Some may have noticed I did a funnies thread last Friday. I figure that with the hell most of us go through, the weekend should be started off with a laugh or two. So, I'll be doing more Funnies on Fridays, and if you don't have a sense of humor, you can choose not to read. Laughter can be a great distraction from SSDD. As Jack Handy once said, "Dad always thought that laughter was the best medicine; which is why most of us wound up dying from Tuberculosis." Peace, Carl D

I'm sorry you're getting hit again, but am glad that you are seeing a doc this time. About the title of the book. I looked around the house and I have 3 different books from 3 different authors with the same title, so that shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't do any editting until you are finished with the book. I have a problem with what is called Chapter One Syndrome. I get so obsessed with making chapter 1 perfect that I never get to chapter 2. A boss of mine pointed that out and as long as I remember that, I do fine. Good luck with the doc and the book!!! Gator

Good luck, Carl. Let us know how it turns out. Gator, "Creative Mind" and "Editing Mind" are very different. When first throwing material onto the page, look at it as throwing clay onto a wheel. Who cares if it's good or perfect or whatever... The important thing is to get it onto the page. Then shelve it for a couple of weeks and come back to it. Read it, edit it, and then shelve it for a couple of weeks. Keep the two separate, and before you know it, you'll have a novel that just needs some cleaning up. Good luck! -Frank
