Thanks to the ones that sent me messages recently.  Sorry I haven't been back on to reply.  I don't know if you remember but I was the one asking for help for my pain before my next doctor appointment.  Well, I ended up seeing a neurologist and had an MRI and, subsequently, an MRA.  Turns out I have an aneurysm.  I'm meeting with a neurosurgeon on Tuesday, 8/17 to discuss options.

This message is to URGE each of you to have an MRI or at least discuss it with your doctor.  My pushing my doctor for this probably saved my life.  Don't assume that your headache is just a headache - whether it be migraines, cluster or cph.  Get the scan and rule out the worst, then go from there.

Just an update.  Thanks for all your help.  Good luck to you all.

Yeah, MRI's tend to get berated as standard fare that never reveal anything relevent for clusters, but good thing doctors always have one done when clusters are mentioned.  Hope the best for you and thank you for thinking about us all.

You ain't kidding there. My head should probably glow by now I've had so many stinkin' MRI's.
But yes, if you have chronic headaches of anykind, you do need an MRI to rule out anything like an Anyuerism or tumor. Once these have been ruled out, then a proper diagnosis and treatment is your next step.

Good thing you caught it in time though Tonya. Hoping the best for you.
