Right on, Jonny. Sad and awful though it might be, this is a time in our nation's history where we must stay the course against these murderous animals.

It's too bad the major media outlets won't show that footage anymore. I think those three clips should be shown weekly, if not daily, but of course in chronological order. You're right though Jonny! Methinks too many have already forgotten! ................................................alley

I will never forget! I was off work on med leave when it happened and saw it all real time. Alleyoop is right, it needs to be shown more so others never forget how bad it really was.

I'll never forget the horror of that day. I was living in Collinsville and my downstairs neighbor Chris woke me up with a phone call around 8:30ish that morning. "Dude, turn on your TV quick. A plane just crashed into the World Trade Center." "No way!" I said and rushed to turn the TV on. Afetr I hung up the phone, I was watching as the 2nd plane hit. I freaked out. When the reports were initially coming in of the other crashes and possible car bombs (there were alot of rumors floating as this all happened if you remember right.) My heart sank deep. I was convinced that Armageddon had begun. In a way, I believe it has. Peace, Carl D

I can not and will not ever forget. I was just accross the way from all of it when it happened. I could see the smoke and all from the shore in CT. My heart fell and anger rose. I wanted so bad to go back to active duty and they would not take me. FORGET......NO WAY.....We have a leader with a backbone and we as a nation need to grow one as well and support the family, friends and others that are fighting to keep us safe. It is time to stand up yet again and let the world know that we are not asleep any more. It was said before Pearl Harbor "we are waking up a sleeping giant." Let us sleep no more! Dave

Thanks Jonny. Such a sad day it was and will be forever because of these images. HBO ran some very grafphic stuff a year or so ago and I suspect they will do so again. It's our Pearl Harbor and we were caught with our pants down very much the same. History does indeed repeat. Charlie

I knew several people who lost their lives in the Towers! I was still teaching in a school (now private practice) when it occurred and I swear from 20 miles away you could hear the explosions and see the smoke. Amazing how far it reached (CT, Pa, on and on....the rest of the world!!!) Could never Forget!

There is no forgetting in this house. It's like it happened last week here - all the time. That morning Clark called me on the phone and asked if I was watching the news. I turned it on to see the horror unfolding. At 1 p.m. he came home from work with orders to get his mobility gear (he is active duty AF and was stationed at Ft. Drum). When I kissed him goodbye I didn't know if I would ever see him again, and through the absolute fear and grief of the events, I was filled with pride for all the military members that stood up and volunteered that day. It took another 2 months before he deployed, but I can remember every detail of that day, from the crystal clear blue skies to the tears of those around me, even the smells that were in the air that day. Do not ever forget. Cat

| We are and it's about damned time. It has taken 25 years for us to get our back up. Since 1979 we (and the rest of the world for that matter) have been under almost constant attack from radical islamic muslims of middle eastern descent. They've been breeding and growing and learning and improving for 25 years. This ain't gonna be over any time soon. Gator

| Not saying war with Iraq is good or bad. Since I was in Desert Storm ...I'm really pissed that we didn't finish business then & left a lot of people to die under Saddam when we pulled out. Bringing democracy to a Country is always a good thing. But terrorists never really have a Country. They're basically nomadic & when Iraq is a self-governing democratic nation, they will just move to other "easy to hide" countries. Afghanistan & the Taliban was a good move after 9/11 because we knew they were hiding these idiots. Even though we supported these idiots in the 80's. (But that's another story for another time.) Iraq...should have been handled & secured in 1991. If the current administration told me they were in Iraq to secure democracy for it's people...Hell yeah...a little late but lets get business done. But to say it's retribution for 9/11...the facts just aren't there. The terrorists are the enemy of 9/11 and I don't think bringing democracy to Iraq is going to put much of a dent into their future plans of destruction. They're just going to tip-toe across the desert to another hole in the earth. Hopefully I'm wrong & we wipe em all out in Iraq....I think that's what JDH was alluding to by saying lets fight the people who did this to us. Jim

How could i ever forget. We lost Kimi when the second plane hit. Gabby would have been lost as well but the coffee machine was broke so she went to Star Bucks to get coffee for the office. She was there when the first plane hit and killed all of her coworkers. I'll never forget when a coworker came in and said "April a plane crashed into the world trade center" I gave him a blank look and asked "so what's the rest of the joke?" He took me to the cantine where we have a tv and I watched in horror as the second plane hit. I was standing outside with friends when my manger informed me that the pentagon was hit as well. Then the calls from our customers starting pouring as our network hub was at ground zero and totally destroyed. One jerk from England kept calling me and asking when we could restore service. I finally told him to fuck off and go watch the news. It was the only time in history when I was rude to a customer. I'll never forget. Juvy

It was my 2nd day on my new job. I took a message that one of the World Trade Centers was on fire. I can't believe watching that can still bring me to tears so instantly.
