don't this deamon EVER give up????? Now, not only am I fighting daily high pain levels with no help from meds., inability to get O2 etc....but along comes a NEW symptom! Now, at the start of my cycle (I get about 3 to 7 - 1 to 3 hour headachs a day) my right arm has started to feel sore...radiating down the sholder and it occures along with my normal headache pre-cursors...i.e. runny nose, tearing of the eyes, photo-phobia, body temp raise.... Don't this bastard EVER give up ?????? It's now been 4 freaking days with only 4 hours sleep...even *I'm* begining to break.... hahaha and I don't break easily! shit...something has to give...and quickly.... Dude! Sorry your getting hit so bad right now. I get sore shoulders sometimes (not sure if it is beast related or not) and use Icy Hot or Mineral Ice to ease it. You might also want to try some ice on the arm & shoulder. Sending you vibes, energies and best wishes. Hang in there. Peace, Carl D

Becareful, If the pain comes after using Trex it maybe a heart issue. If the pain happens all the time then it is probably from lack of sleep. Opus/Paul

>> Becareful, If the pain comes after using Trex it maybe a heart issue. Can't be that...I can't take Imitrex for just that reason, the very last time I used it I 'bout had a heart attack, found myslef in an emergancy room after my wife found me on the floor! Plus, where I'm now at, I can;t get *any* meds... What I think it is, is here, I'm toteing around a fairly heavy pack-back laptop case and having to do a hell of a lot of walking in very high heat...I tend to tense up when I'm shadow boxing, and I think it's a combination of being tense and just sore from the load I carry (physical load) Carl_D wrote: >> You might also want to try some ice on the arm & shoulder. Dude...I'd KILL for Ice!!!!! Ice is very hard to get here, about the only place to find ice is at restraunts...thats part of my problem here, I can't ever get even a few hours to let my body temp cool down....normally, when it gets bad I could always find a cold dark room and deal...here "cold" does not exist! Thanks for the kind words everyone... I'm working on somethings to get some reliefe...and looking hard for an apartment with AC so I can stop living out of my backpack and moving from riends home to friends home...theres hope around the bend..it just seems at times that the "bend" is so feakin far away! Again, thanks for being here you guys....it means a lot! ExPat_Jac

When I'm in cycle, I get the same pain, only down my left arm, and in the left side of my neck. The pain stays in my arm and my neck continues to stay stiff until the end of my cycle. I have tried taking muscle relaxers for my neck and my arm. It seems to help alot! However; everyone is different. But I am curious..... would it be possible for us to mail you some meds? Or is that illegal? I have no clue, but I would really like to help you. Now that I'm done with my cycle for this year, I have some extra meds that will be outdated by my next cycle. ( usualy 2 - 3 years) ~ Lisa

Hey jac, I think you mite be rite about the arm pain - carrying heavy stuff around. Plus you are probably tense to begin with. Wish i could think of something that would help you! I've never been in an environment such as where you are. Between the alien world you are living in and my own cluster fried brain, gotta tell ya, it's fuckin me up Thinking, that is....lol. You said it best yourself - day by day *** PS: I'm reading Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. It's HILARIOUS***If you enjoy reading and have not read this one I'll send it to ya when ya get your digs. PF wishes and best luck kim

That happens to me as a warning. A few days before a string of ha's contining into them. What helps? Become less neurotic and tense? Not likely, but what seems to help is a good massage........can you find one of those? It would be fun to try.
