Is he going to Sawyer, Sayre or Sayer?

There is no Sayer that I can find.

Sayre is about 2 hours west of Oklahoma City close to the OK/TX state line.

Sawyer is about 3 hours south and just east of OKC close to the OK/TX state line.  It is also about 3 hours almost due south of Tulsa and about 3 hours northeast of Dallas, TX.

Supposedly, Dr. Harvey Blumenthal (Tulsa) is THE neuro to see in Oklahoma for CH.  I've been seeing him since April - not impressed.  There is supposed to be a decent neuro in Oklahoma City, but I don't know who that is.  KOP might know.

If it turns out to be Sayre(probably), then your friend will be right in the middle of Oklahoma City and Amarillo, Tx. (about 125-130 mi. either way). So Amarillo's another option you may want to look at.

You've got Dr. Scott George in Lawton, OK (about 120 mi from Sayre.) I found him in the OUCH list. They also had one listed in Abilene, but that's probably a little farther than your friend wants to travel.

Hope this helps.......................................

Sorry for the spelling error, it's Sayre.....and it's a she not a he....I hate to say the (M) word....but she is afflicted with (Migrane) something awful and in her little burb in Iowa she had few options....(very remote)

She may have better luck with migraines than I did with clusters.  Migraines are more popular and easier to treat, right?   Grin  If there is nothing in Sayre, then she should be able to let her fingers do the walking and find a neuro in Oklahoma City.  I'd bet there are migraine support sites that would suggest a good one if such an animal exists in OK.
