Yes on the veramp. & litho. Just got my O2 a couple of days ago. The zonegran got rid of my ha (last one was FRI.) but quit taking it yesterday. I could not handle the side effects.Have not had a full blown ha yet ,but several shadows.

I just had to quit zonegran too due to nausea/vomiting/lack of any appetite whatsoever. What kind of dosing did you start off on and how long were you on it? My neuro had me start on 100mg every other day, and then wanted me to take 100mg every day after 2 weeks, and then go up from there. I never got past 100mg every other day, though. Apparently this is more tolerable for some than others! If you started on the 200mg all at once daily, that might be too much for you, and maybe consider restarting but at a slower schedule? Zonegran has a 63 hour half-life I think..which doesn't let your body readjust before you take the next dose if you start taking it daily all at once! Just a thought... although I did have to quit taking it myself. Carrie

Started at 50mg for a week. 100 mg for 5 days ,then 200mg only for 3 days with the same problems plus throat and irritability problems.

I spent a LOT of money on botox, I think I had three rounds of injections...results= looking half way less pissed off. Didn't do a thing. what dose of verap and lithium are you on. Dosages are the key.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Try Botox. You'll still have CH but with much fuller firmer lips. Quote:Yes on the veramp. & litho. Just got my O2 a couple of days ago. |
| Thats ussually a very effective combo. Why the Botox?
