LMAO at this string. Asking New Yorkers "Is anyone close by?" Hell, if you're in the state of New York you're close to everyone in New York. How wide is that state? Maybe 20 miles border to border? Come out west and ask "Are you close?" The answer will be "I'm only 8 hours away. I'll stop by and see ya". Ever try to drive across Texas? After 12 hours of windshield time at 80mph you've traveled about half way across the state. And they say that's close by.

Only about 400 miles for me to the City from the wilds of Chautauqua County in Southwestern NY. At least 10 hours...a snap on I 86. Last time I was there was 1973.....damn it. Charlie

Ohh Bobbbb... I prefer not to "do" a 3 hour drive MAX on my own... after that I'd like a driver to do the rest thank you very much......while I relax and view the scenery. Screw that where's the airport? Last year, 1 hour flight to Watertown... ... 12 hours to actually get there. STILL beat driving. on Aug 6th, 2004, 5:18am, BobG wrote: Ever try to drive across Texas? | Hell no. Why the heck would I do such a thing... Oh btw, NY vs. NYC... horse of a different color my dear.. Pep OH, p.s. still working on details stay tuned

*BIG SALSA CHUNKS BUMP* Love that stuff. Just bumping for those New Yorkers that I have not heard from, in case you're out there lurking. Kim is away in Wyoming, but the plan is to go out to Long Island in her and E-double's area, if people agree on that. We never did get down to a date, but we are trying to get MORE PEOPLE to come on in. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!! So give me a holler, one way or another... Pepper
