When it rains it pours...

It was sunny all morning. My legs have been hurting for days again. My right leg feels like it has a constant charley horse in the calf, and NOW my knee is giving out.
About 2 minutes ago, It started pouring down rain. My back is to the window, so I never even seen the clouds roll in, but I FELT them. Seems the Fibromyalgia is like arthritis in the muscles.

I was lamenting to my sis in law the other day that I needed to purchase a cane soon, and my check for August is already gone for bills. Told a friend I hadn't seen in years and he was like, "Dude, we're gutting a house that was full of stuff, and I found a cool cane in there. You want it? It's yours." I was floored! It's pretty cool too. It breaks down like Knunchucks, so I can put it in my bag with me everywhere I go, just in case.

Now i just have to survive one more week on strong doses of Ibuprofen until I get my Tramadol next week. The drag with the Ibuprofen is, it is making me rebound with light CH's/hard shadows.

Now if this spreads throughout the body like it did in June....
Don't wanna think about it right now.
Think I'll watch 28 Days Later.

Gritting teeth and bearing it,

Sorry to read that you're getting slapped around Carl.  Your cane sounds great.  Easy to transport, easy to put together when you need it.

I too am one who can feel the weather change without seeing it come or being out in it.  The beast just loves to hover with the barometric pressure.

hug Hang in there, bro'. So sorry to hear that you're getting nailed by this crap...

Echo, you're right: Barometric pressure seems to summon the beast, for whatever ungodly reason...  Angry

No excuses.

You been around long enough to know you need to lie down with a cold washcloth on your head. Vibrating glasses will also help.

Carl...if you sure it's Fibro & have already been diagnosed, etc...you may want to check out  Dr. St. Armand on Google. He's got a guaifenesin protocol that seems to have helped a few people. I see his name mentioned constantly on pain.com.

I can't verify the protocol since I don't have fibro...but it's worth a look see.
