... and it wouldn't have taken 7 hours go get to Nashville, either.
My dad had one right before I came into the picture... but it was a 396, and had white interior. I curse him for selling it to this day. Still trying to talk him into going in on half of another one with me...
454 cubic inches of steel, and sex appeal....

What a beautiful Chevelle. Oh how I'd love to own one like that.
The fastest car I ever owned was (believe it or not) a 79' Trans Am w/ T-Tops. (It would've smoked my Mustand 5.0 !! ) That sob would flat out get crazy ! You had to feather it or you'd lose it for sure ! Had alot of fun in that car. Now ... thanks to these posts and pics ... I'm missing it

I graduated in the late 70's and to think that about half them cars in the parking lot would be worth what they are today. I love cars from the 60's.
