Yesterday I recieved a phone call from a friend in California. She said she was reading in the Redding, Calif. newspaper an article entitled: Cluster headaches. No reason found for this excruciating pain. She then went on to read the article written by a sufferer in Tenn. who described them as like a white hot poker being driven into your eye...etc etc..I stopped her because of the Tenn. reference.. I said, Tell me the name of who wrote this. She started to say Frank...and I stopped her again.."Weedon(sp) " and she said YES!!!!!! how did you know that? After I PM'd Frank to tell him about this conversation we were both amazed at how something in Tenn. got all the way to my small town in Calif. whoo-doggies!!! Go Frank. Go Frank...dang....where are my pom-poms when I need them? Oh yeah, I gave them to Mast at the convention. lol Linda

Aw, shucks... Thanks. The credit really goes to Luke, though. He's the one who got Virginia Lynn to do the article. She called me and interviewed me over the phone. Thanks, Linda. (I wonder if my parents saw the article too, then...) Thanks again. ^5's!

I have just contacted the editor of that paper (Record Searchlight) and have asked them politely, if they would consider scanning for the aricle and coming here to post it. Probably not, but I tried. Linda

Here's the one that was in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette. I'm not sure if this is the one you were looking for or not...but here it is anyway. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/04160/328352.stm I still have the original, I'll try to scan it soon and stick it on my website. I'll let everyone know when I get around to that. ~Jake

Thank you, everyone. I'm just so glad that someone was willing to do an article, and that the information IS getting out. I'm grateful to Luke for giving Virginia my name and phone number, and grateful to Virginia for calling me up and interviewing me. I had no idea that this thing would go national! I thought it would remain a small, local sort of thing... I'm humbled, grateful, and amazed... *tears in my eyes* Thanks again to Luke DeSimone and Virginia Lynn. Thank you, Linda. Love, -Frank

Thank you, Turts. You may feel like the only one, but at the convention in Nashville, there were four people that just happened to be staying at the hotel who came up, read our literature and said, "OMG... I've had these for years and never knew what they were." I suspect the same would be true if we held a convention in Sydney, Perth, Canberra... ANYWHERE! Anyway, you're here, so now you're never alone. -Frank
