2 years of dating and 14 years of marriage later, I am still happily married.
16 years of being 100% faithfull to the same woman.

That is wonderful news. I love hearing great stories like that. My parents have been married for almost 36 years and they are still going strong. I'm only 23 and am not ready for marriage, but when I am, I will look to my parents for guidance, because they are great role models for married couples.

On Oct. 13 my husband and I will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! Seems like it was just yesterday. Congradulations to you on your successfull marriage.

Congratulations, Dude!!! Not exactly a record, but defintely unusual and admirable in this day and age. There are still a few of us out there. My wife's mom & pop have been married for 42 years.

Thanks a lot everybody.
It's almost time for me to go home now and take my wife out for overpriced French food and then a movie.
Maybe a bottle of Asti and some cheese and crackers in bed while we watch a rented movie.
And then ........ Well, you know!!!

31 years this past may...same husband, too!
We got lucky, I imagine.......we met on the beach, so each year on our anniv we go there again, rain or shine......
Oh,and since SOME smartass is gonna make a comment...I was 12 on my wedding day...so THERE!!

They don't all work out the way you want 'em to. Sept. 12 will mark 10 yrs this time around (2nd marriage- 1st was 10 yrs). Unfortunately, we're separating tomorrow. Oh well, life goes on.

Congrats - quite an accomlishment but not a record. Got to 25 years and then called it quits. This time around it's been 13 years and I'm still as happy as day one!

Congratulations. It is nice to see when couples can hang in there for the long haul. My mom and Dad - 38 years, seperated by death. My in-laws - 51 and still going strong.
Me - that's a different story. I'll NEVER do it again that's for sure.

Congrats for hangin in there. Hope there is many more to come. Mine is 8-15 and will be 18 years with the lovely lady Jayne. In reality it seems like 50 or more. If you asked her she would tell you that it's closer to 100.

Great accomplishments...all of you.
Gives the rest of us hope. I remember my first husband's Grandmother (very old and very proper) told us in a very shakey voice "now it's not always going to be a bowl of peaches and cream". She was so cute! About 4'8" and 90lbs. Grandma and Grandpa had been married for 50+. You really gotta like a person........
