Unsolved gets slammed

I sure did enjoy some PF time during the convention. It lasted over 4 day and it was a great break. Then ... over a dozen injections in 2 days. A 3 day hospital stay for IV Solu Medrol and a touch of DHE IV (4mg total). I'm out now out and on a steriod taper again. Maybe the beast knew he was about to get shot at with a new 'treatment' and wanted to keep me down. I haven't got to try the treatment yet...BUT I WILL ! Gotta be at MHNI on Monday morning. I mentioned C.H.A.T.S. to my local neuro. He thought it sounded like a great idea and is looking forward to the 'finished product. I'll mention this to doctors at MHNI tomorrow too. Thanks to everyone who put effort into CHATS. I believe it will show to be a very useful data collecting tool. I hope many Clusterheads get involved ! Unsolved

Hey Michael, SOB, it's like the Beast has picked you for his poster child! I remember our conversation in Nashville about your new treatment. BTW, you've got a helluva good friend for support (what is his name? Jeff?) Anyway, I sure hope it works for you. If anyone deserves success, it's you Michael! I have been PF since the convention myself, until last night. Got hit hard 4 times (7 shots of trex), so it looks like the party is over for me. Looks like I've worked out the details though, to try the same treatment in the next few weeks. I'll keep you posted & please do the same for me. Good Luck Michael................luv ya man.................. ..........................................................alley

Hiya Michael, So sorry that the PF times didn't last. However I think awhile back when I was upset that the beast came back after the pred taper bought a few days of relief, you said to me that a few days is better than none. How true that is. But still not any easier when it comes back with a vengence. Let me know how that new treatment works for you... I'm interested in hearing how it goes. Again, great to meet you in Nashville, and vibes coming your way!! Carrie/Lizzie2

| No, it stands for Michigan Home for the Notriously Insane. I heard about them ceramic classes, though. And fingerpainting. LOL Sorry to hear you're getting it so hard, Michael. I pray for better times for you. Gator

Sorry to hear that the beast is hitting you hard again, though it sounds like you're going to the right place. When I lived in MI, I was a patient at MHNI (Michigan Head-pain and Neurological Institute) under the care of Dr. Weintraub. They put me on the Verapamil / Lithium combo, and o2 for an abortive. Helped me keep the beast at bay for a couple of seasons. I just wish the Verapamil still worked for me. I hope you get some relief soon bro. Peace, Carl D
