I know there are some here who are probably tired of reading our comments about Nashville. However, I just have to bring this forward. I met Edna in New Orleans in Dec. 2003. Edna is a precious lady and a great friend. Edna and Svenn have been clusterbuddies for a long time. Everyone who knows Edna, is aware of Edna's clusterlove for Svenn. Svenn is Edna's angel. Edna and Danny (and 2 of their kiddos) arrived in Nashville and while hugging my good friend, the tears were flowing. However.....the real tug at the ole heart strings occurred when Edna met Svenn face to face. Such emotion.....so many tears, so much love and gratitude. To think, that Svenn and his lovely wife made the long journey all the way from Norway. Now, that's love!! It's such a great feeling to witness the "ties that bind." Edna, I am so happy that you and Danny were able to spend quality time with Svenn and his wife. I know that those memories will stay with you forever. You are a lovely lady, and a great friend to many. I look forward to seeing you real soon. I am so very sorry that Danny's Mother is so ill. I know that you both sacrificed precious time with her to be with us in Nashville. I know that you have spent countless hours at her bedside, and my heart goes out to you. If I can ever help or do anything for you or Danny, please let me know. Love to you my friend......vibes and prayers for Danny's Mom.... Jean

WOW!!!! Jean you are one special lady dear, guess that's why I love you so much. From the first time I met you at our New Orleans meet, I knew you were something out of the ordinary. I couldn't go beyond your first four lines without tears blurring my eyes. Just knowing you think enough of me to write what you did fills my heart with love. I truly can NOT see this screen any more, and have an ache from deep inside of wanting to be amongst you all again. When we had to leave early on Monday morning, I was kinda glad. It kept me from having to say too many goodbyes. I'm TOTALLY not good at that. I think you'll remember from our meet in N.O……I like to make a quick happy exit….LOL. That's how it was with Svenn, had to be strong and fight back tears or I would never had gotten out of there. Well, I thought I had won!! YEAH RIGHT About an hour later, driving along the interstate, the tears started. The lonesome blues hit…….and it's still with me every minute of every day since. The blues like you all spoke of from other conventions and meet-n-greets. Man does it sting and hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sit here tonight on Wednesday, still at a loss for words. There are none I guess. What I have are lifetime memories, of a weekend that has deeply embedded warmth among friends inside of my heart. My only regret is not having enough time to meet everyone there. Just too many ppl. That's why I say it has to be longer next time!!!!!!! DJ it was indeed an honor to finally get to hug you. And because I am so greatful, I'll agree with you. This is ALL your mother's fault!!!!!!!! ( ) love to all fellow cluster buds, EDNA

I did NOT run out on you dear Chuck, I'd never do such a thing. But, I'm afraid if I would have had to say goodbye, I'd of just had to tie a rope on that dang wheel chair of yours and pull you with me all the way home....... (it wouldn't of fit in the car) There, feel better? Love you much, EDNA

I think I missed our Edna by about 15 minutes or so..... It was great though and now they will be insufferable in chat, etc. That's a good thing though. See you both around the board. Charlie
