Taken by surprise

I have been trying since I got off the bike to put into words what all of this has meant to me. So without further ado, it is just going to spill as it comes to mind. It was on honor to be able to formally speak to my family at this year’s convention. I must confess, that is the first time this ole boy has ever addressed a formal group. Kathy was kidding me that I would be up there just perspiring up a storm [I have had clients offer me a towel because I drip sweat on their keyboards from nervousness]. But I took one look around the room, and felt instant calm and self-assurance….thank you all. I was, in a phrase….completely blown away by the audience attention and interest during the presentation and all of the questions. Needles to say, when people starting approaching me with ideas, I knew something good is on the horizon. What really hit me hard with pure surprise and humility was the applause I received when presented the OUCH Future Award. Thank you, to those responsible for selecting me, and thanks to all of my family for the faith, trust, hope and backing you have shown. As soon as I can do some slight edits on the C.H.A.T.S. presentation and add the copyright information, I will post a link or have it as a flash executable for all to see. With gratitude beyond words, -dan PS. I should mention that my wonderful wife Kathy, had a great time, learned much about our plight, and enjoyed the companionship of all she got the chance to meet.

Dan, you did a wonderful job, and you are continuing to do great things with the CHATS program. I also enjoyed meeting you in front of the hotel, when you arrived. That's got to be the funniest thing that happened to me at the convention... (blush) Your presentation was one of the highlights of the entire event. Thank you for the love that you've poured into it, your dedication, and all of your hard work. You are da' best.

I think we should all get together and do a movie..."Night of The Clusterheads". George Romero would have nothing on us!!!
