Where do I start? What can I say?
NashCon was a very special event to put it mildly.
It was wonderful to see our old friends again and meet new ones.
I have read the posts relating many of your feelings. All I can say is....you all have nailed it!!!

Aw Jacks, you and Blake ROCK!!!! I was soooo freaking happy to finally meet you both!! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I've heard nothing but great things of you both, and you know what? There are no wonderful words to describe two most excellent people as yourselves, so I'll just say that I was blown away by you both. I miss you lots.

I hate to agree with Mel and Jayne on anything, but it was special to meet you and Blake. I at least got to spend enough time with both of you individually and learn more of what you two have been thru these past 2 years. It was about time that we met . Give Blake a hug for me and give yourself a hug for me as well.

Jackie, It was really great to meet you and Blake. At some point on Saturday night, I sat down with Blake and he told me his story about getting diagnosed and all the different run arounds with everything.
Absolutely amazing. I was really blown away by the story. You and Blake are really terrific and an inspiration.
I have said this over and over again, but I am a member of a few different headache support groups online because I have clusters and the chronic migraine or whatever it is!! At any rate, I am constantly uplifted and inspired by my cluster family. So many times on other sites I hear of giving up, going on disability, not getting out of bed, problem after problem....and sometimes it can make me very angry at the attitudes.
Clusterheads are NOT like that!!! (And I'm not saying by any means that all people with other headaches are, but some are..) I am truly uplifted by the fact that people with clusters continue to lead their lives as best they can, go to work, have families, and they don't give up! This seriously helps me to not give up.
Before this weekend, I was ready to give up. I was so depressed it wasn't even funny. I couldn't really take it anymore.
But then I get down there and meet all the family. I feel ready to keep on fighting. I'm ready to stay in school and become a nurse so I can help those who I care about so very very much.
Words can't even begin to describe the feeling I carry with me all the time now...
I just know that it is all going to be ok. No matter what. We're there for each other.
Great to meet you and Blake, Jackie!! Please tell Blake thank you for sharing his story with me. It was very inspiring, and I give you both so much credit.
