As many of you know, I’m working on a documentary on Cluster Headaches. The production pack is currently in a few distributors mailbox. It has also been brought to my attention that many Clusterheads want a tape of a hit for educational purposes. I need to shoot a 3-5 min mini-documentary to go along with my production packet to show what I’m capable of and thought that OUCH/Clusterheads might like a copy with a relies allowing members to nearly unlimited use. I currently need a south Florida Clusterhead willing to inflict upon themselves myself and a small production crew (aprox 2-3 people) who is currently in an active cycle and would allow me to interview them and hopefully their family, as well as tape a hit or two. Also can anyone recommend a few Neurologists in the Ft. Lauderdale area who deal in Cluster Headaches? Thanks for any help offered Adam

If you get to Nashville soon enough, you should be able to find a willing party(er).

Sadly I can’t make the convention… especially with an eng kit. Also the convention is too soon, will take me a few weeks to get the production kit together and script written for the piece. And my crew needs at lest a week or twos notice (as I’m not paying them… are volunteers working for video credits)

Concept This production will be for a 3-5 minute demonstration “mini-documentary” to be used for the “Clusterheads” documentary. This will be a two day shoot, with an additional day scheduled for contingencies and/or added b-role, with both lunch and dinner provided as well as a continental (coffee and doughnuts) breakfast. It will require a two man crew to assist the Producer/Director with a breakdown of: 1 Camera operator and 1 audio technician, both crew members will be expected to assist with other on-site labors as needed (to include but not limited to lighting set-up, layout adjustment, and technical stand-ins for video framing, lighting adjustments, ect.). For talent we will require one specialist (Neurology/Cluster Headaches) and one Cluster Headache sufferer and supporter family group. Shooting for this documentary will be accomplished on a Sony BataCam camera using the Sony Bata SP tape format. Editing will be preformed on an Avid Express non-liner digital video editing system. Audio cleaning/editing will be done using ProTools. Footage for this documentary will be approximately the end of act I and beginning of act II of the “Clusterheads” documentary. This will be one interview with the specialist (Neurology/Cluster Headaches) to be followed by interviews with the Cluster Headache sufferer and supporter family group inter-spaced with b-role of normal family life. This documentary will conclude with a cluster headache “hit” (attack) with minimal voice-over by the Cluster Headache sufferer describing the different pain intensities reached (using the standard KIP scale) and a “layman” description of how severe the attack is. The goal of this documentary will be an aid in the fundraising for the documentary “Clusterheads”. This will be accomplished by both informing prospective donators of what a Cluster Headache is in a more visceral and descriptive manner than simple written words can portray and to inform on the skill level of myself as a producer/director. Following use as a fundraising tool, this documentary will be donated with a nearly unlimited release (limiting only the method of use and amounts of profit allowed) to O.U.C.H. (Organization for the Understanding of Cluster Headaches) international for use by itself and by its members.

| Clusterheads ... need a tape of a hit for educational purposes ... ?? It's the rest of the public who needs the education ! (No offense intended) Unsolved < Who knows exactly what a 'hit' is >

CCTV, I'm not in South FLA, nor am I in cycle, but as this this progresses, if you need some voice-over talent or anything, being a Clusterhead actor here, I'd be glad to help in any way I can. I have access to V/O facilities, etc here in Pittsburgh, so if I can help in later stages, let me know. Joe
