Are We There YET?!! YESSSSSSSS!!!!

HA HA!! WE WON!! WE GOT HERE FIRST!!
Well, after saying a teary goodbye to Renny at the Shreveport airport  , Barbara D and I began our journey to Nashville...
Proposed Trip Descriptions
1. I never saw a Wal-Mart I didn't like...
2. So many Happy Meals, So Little Time...
3. No, Donna...driving on the shoulder of the road will
NOT save time...
We arrived in Nashville and even took the right exit the first time around...not too bad for a couple of broads from Texas with no sense of direction (must have been a built in homing device that got us here).
We found the hotel but they must have known we were coming because when we got here they turned off all the lights and pretended they were not home.
SO....At 1:30am we called Leesa at home!!  We told her the hotel forgot to pay thier electric bill and that all reservations would be honored at the Dew Drop Inn down the street...Good news they have hourly rates!! Bad news...there is no smoking in the room so after that hour exactly what are you supposed to do? (HEE HEE).
But seriously, we have arrived safely. The hotel is nice and I think I saw Barbara dancing on the bar located at the back of the hotel.....going to make her come home and get some sleep for tomorrow!!
HURRY UP AND GET HERE!! WE HAVE HUGS WAITING!!!

Don't start the party without us !!! Hey how early can ya get into the rooms.....anyone know ? We're leavein tanight but stoppin on the way then head on in Thursday. Wonderin if ya can check in at noon or what the deal is? Got all my hotel info and directions in a folder int he truck. My dad is waitin on us so we'll be goin over there when we get there tho Thursday and back and forthin alot. Party on !!!!!

I lived in west texas for a year, that driving on the shoulder thing totaly freaked me out the first time I saw it. It's like 2 extra lanes on every road.

I'll either be there tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday. I am riding with Jim (JDH) and his wife, Sue. I have to call Jim tomorrow before noon to see when we are leaving. I can't wait...
