A few times now, when I stick the Trex needle in my arm, plunge via Q-Tip - I pull the needle out, and the Trex leaks out!!! Has this happened to anyone else and if so, does this mean your arm is full? Peace, Carl D

That's why I don't fuck with the q-tip shit... ... if I'm hurtin', I'll risk wasting a whole dose... I really couldn't care about saving a few bucks if it's more than a 7 anyway. -Big Dan

When I am using injectable trex, it does sometimes leak out a little. This could mean your arm is full... try the other one. purpleydog

Just leave it in for a few seconds after you inject.

The inside of the inner thigh is the bast spot to prevent that leakage. The fattier the sub layer is, the less leakage there will be because the underlaying muscle won't cause pressure to force the trex right back out. Hope this helps.....

Well Carl, In medical terms, you could Z-track it. That means when you go to inject, push your skin to the side. Make sure you hold it in for 5-10 seconds after it injects. Then release your skin when you go to pull it out. This should block it from leaking back out. Works well for IM injections...not sure if it works the same for Sub-Q. Good luck! Lizzie

If you notice, most times you get a shot at the doctor they hold the needle in for a few seconds. If your arm is not relaxed when you inject, the trex can't be absorbs quickly. Either relax or leave the needle in 5-10 seconds.

Ya'll are doing one of two things wrong. One you may not be sticking the needle far enough in. Second as Don says your pulling the needle out to soon. If you have it far enough in and leave it in a second or two longer you won't have that problem.
