I haven't been sleeping  for a few weeks now. Been up and down roll all night. Then hot flashes off and on. Well I stopped taking my clostrol meds a couple of nights ago to see if that was keeping me awake. I slept good two nights in a row. So this moring a get up and I am hot and I just let it go thinking another hotflash. I stay that way all moring. I call my Doctor just to find out she is no longer with that clink. I tell them whats happening and ask if there is something else I can take for my clostrol and then I ask if they can give me a patch for the hot flashes or change my meds cause they don't work. I never did get a call back Sad!
I continue on my day and just start sweating and really feeling bad. I am down to under cloths now. The baby( Big Boy he gets mad if you call him a baby) he was in training pants and a T- Sirt  I tell him its nap time and he said Nana it is to hot to lay down he wanted ice cream. I turn the air down and take him to bed,he says agin he is hot. So I said the celling fan is on and the air is on 65 no way you can be hot. I touched him and he was hot and red faced. So I have my vents in the celing , so I stand on the bed and feel to see if the air is working. Its blowing out air but warm air.
All day long I thought I was having hot flashes just extra long ones and the darn air was out. I was able to get someone out to fix it and now am cool finally.
I told the nurse on the phone if she did not find something to cool these hot flashes I would be ashes by morning.
So if you have a hot Flash ladies that last more than a few minutes check the air LOL!

Did that in my car the other day.......had alot on my mind and didnt' realize the air wasn't on but had the heater on low cuz it got chilly other nite we was out on the way home. I turned the fan on and got hotter and got a bit worried about how hot I was gettin by the minute to almost FAINT stage. Was thinkin I mite spontaneous combust ! Plus I can't see the green light on the dash indicateing my air IS ON  cuz my do dads hangin from my rear view mirror hang down and block it. (fox tail) Duh..................... Cool

PS: When I tried to open my house door with my car key unlock button when I got home "I knew" I needed a rest !
