Could these 2 be related?

I have 3 bulging discs, a pinched nerve, and arthritis in my lower left back. The nerve that is pinched is the siadic (sp?) nerve that goes down your leg. Ok, my damn headaches are on my left side as well. I haven't had them in a couple of years (see my post in "Gettin to know ya"Wink but they are back. I found out about the discs about a year and a half ago and I am being treated for that. I just wonder if all of this could be connected. I had a MRI done of my neck and a CT scan of my head done and there are no pinched nerves in my neck or anything. Any ideas? Huh

I also have a small disc problem in my lower back, and no sciatica. My neck gives me all kinds of hell and different kinds of headaches, but it does NOT cause my CH.

In a few cases back or neck problems might aggravate or trigger. But it isn't the central cause of clusters.

Many cases of Hemicrania / Paroxysmal Hemicrania may be due to nerve compression or injury - usually in the neck.

I broke my neck last summer, diving into a shallow pool. It really fucked up my day.

Frank you are a master of understatement....

But to answer your question...  I have 3 degenerative disks in my lower back. Torn muscles, pinched nerves..  blah blah bla...  But I was injured in 2000 and the HA started .... Oh fuck almost a year ago now.  Angry

LOL... I was in excrutiating pain for six weeks, and had to go through a CAT Scan and MRI, as well as wearing one of those awful, hard C-spine collars. Fortunately, it was a non-displaced fracture, which means that although I crushed the vertebra, the pieces didn't go anywhere, so it knit back together without incident, and hasn't bothered me since.

There are a lot of people here with severe back problems... My condolences.  Embarassed
