can't choose your battles

I was born in the wrong era.  I am supposed to die by the sword, fighting for a cause worthy of dieing. I have carried this with me for my adult life, knowing that a long life of freedom and luxury is a concept known to the privelidged, not common all over the world.
Here is my point. Knowing this and not fearing a time when I may have to do this, did not prepare me for the foe that I would actually be put up against.  I did not know that I would be pitted against an enemy without weakness, without rhyme or reason, not human, kind of like an invisible terminator that WILL NOT STOP< EVER< UNTIL I AM DEAD.
Well, I said I was a warrior, and cannot choose my battle. If I step into the ring and see a foe without weakness, that does nto mkean I get to step out of the ring. I will continue every day to do battle with this chicken-shit enemy until the fight is over. Many people have gone into a fight that they know they will not win, but do they fight any less hard? NO. I will draw my sword and ride out to meet this creature EVERY TIME HE SHOWS UP AT MY DOOR. It will never win, even if I cant win either.

Right on!! NEVER give in!! In fact, when I've fought foes that I didn't think I could beat, it's only made me fight all the harder. (At least they would know that they've been in a ferocious battle, instead of just kicking my ass.)  Smiley Singing, The Cure's, "Fight, Fight, Fight," and Survivor's, "Burning Heart"*

Very cool to read.

I've been sitting back licking my wounds. I still fight right now, just feel like I dont have much strength when it is all said and done.  It does not mean that I dont fight, nor does it mean that I dont fight as hard. It only means that it is wearing on my a little more right now.  But I still get up and know that I won another one. Even if i know that within the next 4-6 hours the fight will begin again, for the moment I am here and he is not, and I am victorious.

My blade is awash in Sumatriptan Succinate.  The enemy sent to my door does not have time to shit his pants, let alone mount a meaningful attack.

My breastplate be lithium, my sword O2.  I swing my trusty steel to draw the enemy in close. Then when my foe is inches away from my body, I reach into my sleeve, draw my zolmitriptan dagger and thrust it into the very heart of the beast.  He staggers back, but manages one more swat upon my head, then falls backwards onto the floor.  He melts down through the floorboards running away to build strength for yet another duel.

Not being able to make any choices besides a full on CH or a medicated CH isnt really being able to choose your battles, hence the title of this thread.  Not only does this thing have no weakness, but it does not allow you* k9n8 to make any choices about it when, where, how bad, and if the medication works every time. So, CAN"T choose your battles. The battle is brought to the door and away we go......
