I think Microsoft got the message when the dept. of homeland security basically Said that M$ software is a risk to national security. The article says that Mozilla/Netscape may not protect either. I guess that means you need an operating system without active X. Also this isn't a patch, this just turns off settings that should have never been on by default. I hope this whole mess ends with M$ fixing security in NT 5.1 instead of developing Longhorn which there isn't even Hardware that will run it yet. Opus/Paul

Well, seems to be a few of us Linux types here among the clusterheads! Hmm, maybe we've stumbled onto something, ya think that maybe... Nahhh! Couldn't be, I had my first cluster 24 years ago. Now that I think about it, thats the year Bill Gates snockered IBM. Coincidence? But seriously, Windows gives everybody headaches, doesn't it?

Linux users simply have to tolerate Microsoft, much the same way that William F. Buckley must tolerate Jerry Springer.

There are a few of us, even one woman, maybe two. What is missing is our token defender of Redmond. I hope he isn't walking to Nashville. Opus/Paul
