This evening, I received a call from this fellow:

He mentioned that he had seen the article about CH that appeared in the Pittsburgh newspaper. I asked how he'd obtained my number and he said that he called Information for it. Fair enough... I asked him if he had cluster headaches, and he said that he used to have headaches, and that they were probably caused by too much caffeine. (At this point, I was thinking, "WTF???" ) Anyway, as he stammers and yammers on, he starts telling me about this seaweed supplement that he's selling, and then begins prattling on about the immune system and its decline, and about how eating fatty acids also causes headaches.
I told him that my immune system is in fine shape, and that I've only been truly sick one time in my entire life, and that the only thing I've found that helps my cluster headaches is Verapamil and injectable Imitrex. I also told him that I appreciated the fact that he was in business and trying to earn a living, but that I would appreciate it if he didn't call me anymore. At that point, he abruptly said, "Okay. Bye."
What the FVCK??? At first, I thought he was a fellow clusterhead, so I was happy for the chance to possibly provide some kind of help or advice, only to realize that this fucking scumbag got my name out of a newspaper and considered me a gullible mark for his fucking snake oil bullshit!  (actually, that's probably insulting to snakes!)
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

What I always try to keep in mind is this:
If someone has suffered from CH themselves, they would never dream of 'selling' something to other clusterheads. Don't think I've encountered anyone on this board that wouldn't "pass the cure salt" with no strings attached if they could help me, or someone else out.
So, iff'n you're being called from a guy with the smoothest rap in the world but there's a price tag, give him Johnny's number immediately

By the way, he said that his headaches were caused by too much caffeine. WTF??? In the case of tension headaches, the very thing that knocks them out IS caffeine. The more I think about this fucking idiot, the more annoyed I become.

Pardon my ignorance, but What is MSM? I haven't run accross this one yet.

When I lived in Japan, there was a Corella (sp?) boom. It sounded plausible to me, and I have a problem with my external ear canals that has bothered me for many years. (Jungle Rot is the "scientific" name for it!) LOL! Anyway, I started taking this crap, gulping down those pills by the handful. That stuff didn't do a damn thing. (Well, it helped my wallet lose weight, but other than that, I mean...)
Anyway, as I said before, I'm sure the above listed gentleman would appreciate hundreds of phone calls from interested, potential customers.

Last night, I received a prank call at about 1:30 a.m.
I was awake and messing around on the computer when I received a call. I picked up the phone and a young woman asked if Frank was there. She said her name was Jessica, and I could hear some girls giggling and laughing in the background. When I asked, "Jessica? Jessica who?" She replied, "Jessica's pvssy." I was a little surprised at that, as you can well imagine, and hung up the phone.
