I hope you put the hot sauce on your taco and not fall for that old stick-a-pepper-up-your-nose gag.

I keep a bottle of El Yucateco Habanero hot sauce on my desk at work, one in the fridge at home and one in my camping stuff at all times. I also keep a huge bag of Thai chile peppers in the freezer at work and at home. Die hard spicey food lovers can be strange some times. If you REALLY want the hottest hot sauce on Earth, I have some called "Ass In The Tub". It was given to me for Christmas a couple years ago and is the hottest I have ever had. As for tabasco.... I don't think it's hot. Salty?? Yes. but Hot? no. Jalapeno peppers? A waste of time unless they are the only thing available. Here's something interesting if you REALLY love it hot. Get a recipe for stuffed green peppers and use fresh habanero peppers instead. Be carefull... They're wicked. Pat

Hey when I say "Tobasco" its like ya'lllll suthunas say "Coke" - coke means any kind of soda and tobasco just means hot sauce... never mind the brand. We're not talking brands here. My mom makes her own hot sauce, that's what I'm talking about.... she keeps us in "supply". Sunday dinners just aren't the same without the ChILe. If it doesn't make you sweat or tear what's the point.. LOL.. Hot Stuff

| Around here in da region, it's "pop' if you want any carbonated drink. And I agree with Thomas... Tabasco is used like cetchup in my house. My 3 year old uses the stuff. Pat

Thx guys. 'Sauces' with vinegar as the #1 or #2 ingredient repulse me. Melinda's is on my 'must try' list. Uh oh.. a search for 'Melinda' at my source.. www.mohotta.com... turns up a few products. Are we talking 'Melindas Regular'? If you go to that site, do a find on 'pain is good'. Check out the mugs of those guys on the bottles.

| Gotcha. I saw the low heat rating of the original... did not think that is what you all were talking about... it was in the BBQ sauce range.

| LOL! I have a few sauces that melt my teeth, but once above the 3000-4000 scoville range the experience is more akin to punching myself in the nuts as opposed to enjoying a meal.
