I tried to e-mail all of you but I am so out of tuch that I had more mail bounce back than made it to the recipients.

Hello Old Friends,
I have missed the correspondences with all of you very much, yet I have been fighting several demons and have had little time or inclination to write to anyone.
As all of you know I quit the board in a cloud of contraversial behavior on my part, I did enjoy a close to pain free period, however after a short time on the OxyContin the attacks started breaking through even the strength of that medication.
Having suffered many set backs in the form of situations that created an inordinate amount of stress and anxiety, I aloud my Neuro to add Xanax,zoloft and a sleeping aide (Ambien or Trazadone) to my daily theraputic regime. Big mistake!
You might or might not know that I ended up having some serious problems because I was recieving a script for xanax from both my doctor and the VA doctor, In march (the 12th to be exact) I suffered some type of psychotic episode or possibly a stroke, it took me several days to regain complete mental facualties and admit to myself that I had a problem.
I went into the Hospital and spent 10 days letting the Doctors be pulled into my case, Gastro,Psychariatrist,Pain Management specialist,internist ect!
They changed my medications around and released me, I continued to feel very bad, my mental state was some better, but still I was very ill feeling and attributed this to my Chronic Hepatitis C Virus.
My Gastro did a viral load count, however it would be a month before I got the results at my first office visit. Much to my surprise when I did get the news it really made me rethink everything. I have been on a diet of Small Seed Berries for months and months and for the first time my Viral Load had dropped 7 million points from 10 million to 3 million. Again I had hope of surviving this Virus,
When I went into the Hospital I was certain that the end had come! Wrong---A new beginning, however as hard as I tried to justify continuing the medications, I was still very, very ill feeling and a few weeks ago I decided that If I am to beat this I have to be able to think clearly.
I discontinued all the new medications and the new pain management Doctor, started feeling some better, so I decided I would have to go back to enduring the pain of the Clusters and I quit all medications 10 days ago.
I have been able to do more physical work in the past month than in the 12 months preceeding.
I hate the notion of going back to the pattern of 7-15 attacks a day, however is hind sight I now see what a hugh mistake I made in ever starting the OxyContin.
All the seizures, passing out, and possibly the lack of strength that I had attributed to the Hep C may have been the affects of the OxyContin.
Having tasted the closeness of being painfree, being able to attend a wedding and not having to stop everything to stand in the shower over and over was very inticing, albeit short lived, but the health problem and the possible psycosis I have suffer because of the Medication was a hard lesson to have to endure to see I must be Drug Free if I want to Live.
All of you that have stuck by me during this extended Hiatis from the Board, have been a God Sent Blessing and I want to thank you all! Compassion like you have all shown to me is a very rare thing and if I never hear from any of you again I will still feel as though my heart has been streched to its full capacity with the friendship you all have shown me! Thank You All!!!
