Different pattern

You'd think after 32+ years of these things, I'd have experienced every "pattern" imaginable. Not so. I'm now in my 7th PF day (with occasional shadows) all day and evening. Then I go to bed and anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes, I'm awakened by the beast. (There was a time when it was exactly 90 minutes--- I could tell time by them). The first 2 nights I took no abortives and the CH's returned each time I went back to sleep. These past 5 nights, I've used Imitrex spray or injection. With the spray the headache is gone in 4 to 5 minutes; with the injection 1 to 2 minutes. In either case, I return to sleep with no further awakenings. I'm trying to recall if this means I'm near the end???

Not sure. It's been 13 years. I always say that mine were about 90 minutes into sleep but that's too rigid. I can't pin it down but now and then they were sooner....or later... and usually twice a night. When my cycle was on the way out, they didn't change but got scarcer and scarcer until the next time. Good luck though and I hope something good is happening. Charlie
