For those of you with blue cross/blue shield, Imitrex (all forms) have been reclassified from a tier two drug to a non prefered tier 5 drug. This means the co pay is now 35 instead of 20. I hate the american drug market@@@@@@@@@@@

You're not alone. This is the kind of shit we get from these bastards. Of course they need these price increases to fund "research" so they can develop new drugs. Yeah, like Viagra and other boner pills. Lets see...We can charge seniors and people with chronic maladies the most, get HMOs to take things like Imitrex off their "formularies," and get them to sign up for a drug card that even Stephen Hawking would have trouble navigating. Getting the FDA to slow or block other useful drugs is a good idea too. Oh yeah, this is great..... Fire bombs away. Charlie

That's the great thing about being uninsured! It's still only $140 per refill for me!

No honey - It was 30.00 30. for a statdose thingy or 30 for 6 vials... EITHER way - we're still better off than most. 30. or 35 - or even 50 - is better than the alternative. We are lucky .... I am greatful for our insurance. Really. tina

Yeah... You insured people have it good. But relatively, if I split shots it's between $22 and $35 per headache. Insurance would be great, but that's still a bargain to me.

I spent over $4K when Trex first came out, and would have spent another $4K if my cycle didn't end. The way I look at it is fukk the co-pay increase, its the beast or the 15 bucks. If you don't have it I'll give it to ya. Keep that bastard at bay. PFDAN to you Sean

We have Anthem (BC/BS if I remember correct)......our new policy states it WILL NOT pay the stated co-pay unless it is generic. Brad's been paying rite now $ 50.00 for his two regular meds for other stuff (high blood pressure ect).......insurence is covering about $ 7.00 only on each of those cuz there's no generic available yet. He wanted to try to get a script of injections to TRY this cycle to have around for emergency's.....like when out sumwhere or at work and no time or place to run off and hide a while. He's ok now with the pills for a while now 'thank gawd' but am hopein we can afford some of the injections for the 'emergency' stash. Wonder what that will cost us now....never tried them before. Insurence company's SUCK donkey dicks Pam Cluster Angels rule....they do exist ya know !!!
