Start PT Tomorrow

Well I called the PT and talked to the scheduling gal. She said that I needed to wait formy MRI and then bring in the results before I could start, but that she would check witht he therapist. When she got back on the line she asked how soon I could get in. 
Anyway I go in tomorrow at 11:30 for my first session. At this point I am supposed to go in 3 x a week for 4 weeks. But we will see how things go. All I Know is that today I had 5 K8+ so far and two where at work. My boss ekpt letting me use his office to escape so that people who not see my in a full attack. And I am fighting on now as i feel it coming on, so if there is any merit to the occipital Neuralgia triggering the clusters, then I hope that tomorrow helps some cause if this keeps up, I will need to take off some time from work to try and get my energy up. I was finally helthy and now I am right back to where I was 3 weeks ago and caughing like i have bronchitis again.

heheh When I used to get Mirgaines (I know the eveil M word hehe) I used to love to have my husband (or the guys on the college foot ball team when I was in colege) put his hands on either side of my head right behind my ears witht he fingers towards my face and squeeze together as hard as he could. OMG that felt so wonderful, well at least until he let go, then it hurt like a bitch; Do you think they will have a head vice there for me to try???

If not find anouther football team.......relief is relief ! I have my freinds hug me and hold me up off the ground for a few minutes to take pressure off my spine...I love it too......the family that dangles together stays together Pam (I got my own PT team and no montly fee......ahhhh one happy family indeed )

I tired Physical Therapy during my first attack. It didn't really help much...they did ultra sound, muscle stim, and massage treatments. It didn't make the headaches go away, but it sure was nice to get a rub down after work 3 times a week

Here's looking at ya Tia my dear friend. After my car accident in '86 and for a few years after I had intencive PT 3 hours a day 3 days a week. Between the heat therapy, the ulstra sound, deep massage, and traction, for 6 straight months I'm still walking after all these years. Also the chiropractic over the years helped some but arthritis is setting in good now, so who knows. I hope all works for you friend. Please find some relief...

It's not dumb at all. There is nothoing that it will do for clusters. The doc thinks that my clusters (or at least some of them) at being triggered by another type of HA that they are trying to help with the PT.
Well yesterday I had my first PT.... Glad she was nice, because I was ready to hit her when she said, well lets see if any of this stuff triggers a HA for you. I think she has a death wish, but we shall see.
She used Heat (and start Ultrasound next time) and then did a deep muscle massage in my left (HA) side in the neck and shoulders. She said that it was like pressing on a table. Taught me a couple of expersises to try and strech out the muscles. Then she hooked up a TENS unit to my neck and shoulder (again HA side) and I laid on an Ice pad while I was zapped. all of this within an hour should be entertaining.
The only issue was about 90 mins after she was done and I was back at work my back locked up and I could not move to save my ass. I left work go thte kids and got my husband to watch them. It really sucks to have the beast show up at 3am and I cant even walk. (Carl D I totally understand your pain right now, I am so very sorry)
I go back 2 times a week. Maybe I can get them to work on my back while they are at it. At least some heat would be nice.
