Buddy and I had plan to go the the Stockyard Friday Night we have invited a few people to join us, but would like to invite as many of you as would like to go.
It will be dutch treat. That means everyone is on their own money wise!
Dinner Prices are a little expensive, around $30-40 a plate. There will be music and good food. We are going to reserve a private room and we need to know how many will attend. A Shuttle will pick us up at 8:00 PM at the hotel and they will bring us back.
I need to know by Wenesday June 16th who is going to go.
Please post to this thread if you are going. If your names not on this thread you may be over looked.
Here is a list of people going so far. Please keep in mind with Drinks and Dinner you could spend a $100 fairly fast!

Bummer. I can't join you all for that one. l ready made reservations for Friday night elsewhere. Anyone have recommendations for Thursday night dinner ? There is a place called Nashville Nightlife, but they do not have a show on Thursdays.

Sounds like a good time, but I'll have to check with wifey to see our schedule for Friday night. I'll check & hopefully get back to you later tonight.
BTW, the Stockyard is great eats! I have a couple of buds who were in Nashville a number of years ago for a conference & went there for dinner - and there's a hilarious story about their trip there ... but I think I'll save it until after dinner.

Well, I didn't receive any IM's asking me to go, but I guess I will invite myself along anyway.  Can't be left all alone in the Hotel. Tracy, put me down for 2 please.
I just wish we could eat earlier, so we could party longer. Us southenas usually eat our dinner at noon. We do eat what we call suppa nearer that time but that is about 6pm.

Errr.....ahhh...Ms Lainey....."Going to the stock yard" and dining at a restaurant called the "Stockyard" are two completely different things, although both go well with an anniversary and a nice Merlot.

Don't forget your bib and dancin' shoes. Friday night, so do the bathy thingy and plenty of parfume. Have gentile and drink no more than 15 cocktails (maybe some wine too).

Ooops when Peppermint posted I went over to the web site to check things out. I couldn't find information on it so I called them. The dance hall closed down a year or so back!  I called Buddy and it disapointed him but he said the food and the music at dinner was worth it.
He told me to let you all know.
If you all still want to go say nothing if you don't post and let me know.
Peppermint there will more than likely be clubs all around it being Nashville. Buddy said maybe we can find one close to the motel to go to afterwards, that has dancing.
