Woo Hoo Neuro Appt finally - Monday the 14th

I finally got my appointment with the Neuro. It is Monday the 14th at 1:30. They are right up the street so the drive will be short. Hoping that I will get right in as my appointment is right after he gets back from lunch. Maybe I can talk him into treating these rather then, docs just trying to mask it. Although I have to admit that I am a little nervous. I'm always so afraid when I see a new doc that they are not going to help me or listen to me. Or just make it worse. But I will do my best to be positive. PF Wishes Clusterville - -Tia

Good luck with the neuro appointment Tiannia!! I know what you mean about getting nervous I used to get in a complete tangle and never said what I quite wanted to In the end I wrote all the key points I wanted to make on a bit of paper-made me look a bit stupid but who bloody cares if you get what you want. I was quite happy to look like a nob as long as I got the right meds!! All the best Filbert.

Tiannia, good luck. When I went to see my GP, I printed off the study by the two physicians in the UK, and then went through and highlighted my own signs and symptoms, and highlighted the effective treatments for cluster headaches. This impressed my physician enough so that she actually read it, and we were able to design a course of treatment. Again, I wish you the very best of luck. Vaya con Dios, mi amiguita.

| I will hun. I just hate the fact that the last set of docs I had where wishy washy on my disgnosis so I will have to head with that. But I would still get the "weel you'ra a women" line from timet o time. I m hoping that that never somes out of this mount. I plan on priting up everything. and having it all in a folder to hand to him. His copies at least. I always keep a copy myself. I guess a good sign is that he does not book himself up 3 months in advance. The nuse said that he always leaves appointments open for people who call like me.

If you should experience any of these symptoms and they do not subside or remain persistant, please refer to the instructions given to you and contact your patient immediately. Abuse of this patient may hinder or impair your ability to operate heavy machinery or drive a car, please be sure of how this treatment effects you before you attempt to do so. ok I am all set and ready for my 1:30 apt. Got everything printed out and have made a copy of my HA journal so that he can see the frequency of the hits. After 11 months I am ready for a break. Wish me luck. I will let you all know what happens. Sort of wish I could see him now, as I have shadows from hell. Would like to be able to walk in with a screamer just so they dont think I am bullshitting them. PF Wishes my friends. -Tia
