Latest Doc Visit

Had my latest doc visit on Saturday.  They are allowing me to keep the twelve triptans a month.  In addition, they are upping the Verapamil. I currently take 240 SR and 80.  I am supposed to take an extra 80 at night now for a total of 400.  If this doesnt work i am supposed to call in two weeks to get an Rx for Lithium.  I do have some concerns about this med however.  They said something about long term kidney and thyroid issues.  Also, I am concerned since I already take Wellbutrin and an SSRI.

Thanks

Just as long as you have your blood work done every six months there should be no problem with the Lithium, I have been taking it everyday for.....Shit, like thirteen years.

You might point out to your doctor that a number of people here have had better results with "ordinary" Verapamil, than with the slow release Vera.
Don' know why this should be so, but it might be worth your while trtying to switch over.

Good luck
