Well, at one point tonight, with the help of the TV, I tracked 5 tornado's around the local area. TG we were spared.
Greenville, IN - "heavy damage"
Georgetown, IN - "heavy damage"
Pekin, IN - "heavy damage, destroyed homes, all roads are closed, state of emergency"
Emminence, KY - "heavy damage, people trapped in homes and cars, rescuers working now, state of emergency, all roads closed"

Unsolved

Gawd how scarey....glad yer alright !!! Man what is up with these super cell storms........I am scare'd shitless of tornado's.....(yeah well who isn't).........I have nitemares about them tho. We had hurricane force winds not long ago goin horizontal then hail. Was hittin our front windows well up under our front porch roof so hard Brad thought the windows were goin to blow out. We've been here about 25 years and NEVER seen nothin like this......or storms like this and so many we've been gettin past two years. Town got demo'd by tornado's last November and been gettin the worse ones that time of year. Which was unheard of years ago. Has it got something to do with global warming or what's the theory ? I suspect insurence co's will soon decide not to cover hail and tornado's and want it as an extra policy.........they don't like coverin what happens alot. Hope everyone else is ok.......this shit is really freakin me out !!! Scare'd straight Pam

While talking to Renee on the phone earlier, I could hear the weather alerts going off in the background, at that point they were looking at 70 mile per hour winds!
Did the Texas "5 minute weather rule" spare your area Renee? Hope so!

There is severe weather everywhere. I'm in Pittsburgh and last week...we had horrible storms...knocked out power to some 80k people...rivers slightly flooded....and the predictions are...gonna stay this way for a long time. Everyone be alert...keep a radio on..or TV on...or best yet I find is weather.com if you're on the computer.

I live in Oklahoma, grew up in Moore, OK....guess its something I'm used to, but I LOVE tornado season...they are so beautiful and awesome!!  I know their destructive, but I'll tell you this, I'd rather go through a tornado than any other natural disaster...at least a tornado has a chance of missing ya!!  Hurricaines, fires, earthquakes, you ain't escapin' those...no no not at all!!   Wink
