That's a tough question. Have seen some great ones.

My first concert was very memorable. Kiel Auditorium.
The Monkees, Hermans Hermits, Grass Roots and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. Very cool show.

1. Queensryche 1991 - Empire tour. They performed all of "Operation: Mindcrime" live and it was incredible!
2. Rush - 1994 - Counterparts tour. Very awesome show!
3. Ozzy Osbourne - 1992 - No More Tours tour.
4. Alice Cooper - 2002 at The Pageant. Got to meet the band afterwards, but missed meeting Alice.
5. Blink 182 - 2001 at Riverport. They put on a great show!
6. Godsmack - 2001 at Riverport. Incredible performance!

My favorite two shows I have ever had the pleasure performing are:
1992 at Club 367 - White Zombie / My Sisters Machine / Akrobat. My band, Akrobat, blew the other two bands off the stage. Got to hang out with Rob Zombie and Sean Ysealt. Was very cool.
1998 at Eddies in Granite - We did a battle of the bands benefit for a friend of mine who had Hodgkins Lymphoma. We put together a band of wringers for that one and called ourselves "Dad's Had Plenty" and decided to play rockstars for the night - with a limo and all! We played last and Todd Jones of the Well Hungarians was our lead guitarist. We packed the place out to the gills, and the dance floor was filled with people with a beer in one hand and a fist in the air with the other. We one! I have that show, as well as the rehearsal on videotape still. What is funny is, we went on 45 minutes late because you-know-who had to bail out of the limo and pace the lot with a level 7 CH. The band was patient though, and we rocked when we went on! What is funny is, when you see me during the first track, Ozzy's "I Don't Know", you can tell I just came out of an attack. Ah, those were the days. Itching to get back onstage again, if my health ever allows.

Peace,
Carl D

Saw Little Texas at the fairgrounds, was the most awesome concert I went to because they stayed and sang through a nasty storm.  It was thundering and lightning and the wind was just whirling about while they sang "Kick a Little".  Looked JUST like the video!! LOL!  Seriously, they are a great band.  I also thoroughly enjoyed Diamond Rio when they came to my hometowns' newly built college auditorium.  I can't remember what the name of the instrument is that they play, but it makes such a beautiful, light sound... I think it's a mandolin??

I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn at Alpine Valley, the night he died, I guess that's my most memorable one. Cry  Wow, Paul, two clusterheads at the same show, of course I didn't know, I was a clusterhead at the time.

Holy Bats Vig - you are a party frikkin animal!

Most MEMORABLE concert - not necessarily the BEST.
MY mom took me with her to see Kenny Rogers, (cuz no one else wanted to go..and I was too young to say NO PLEASE DONT MAKE ME!!!!!!!!!  LOL)

And at that concert, on big screens alllllllllll around me - he showed the birth of his baby.   I was all of 8 or so - and that traumatized me.................
both Kenny Rogers, AND the home movie ..

ARG
The only good concert I've been to was
Van Halen (Eddie..................OMG)

I saw a few shows over there. I remember seeing the Marshall Tucker band, Poco and bits and pieces of a Doobie Bros show but nothing really sticks out from that place except the traffic jams afterwards.

Another I'd like to add to my list was the Guns and Roses show at the Riverport Ampitheater when Axle Rose freaked out and went into the crowd to fight some bikers.

My first concert of all things was Led Zepplin with Grand Funk Railroad in Cleveland....geeze I was still in school and Led Zepplin had only started around 1968.......I think I saw them in '69 or '70. Hell I didn't even know what to wear or how to act......my first real big live deal and I was still fresh from the liveingroom. I remember Jimmi Page wore them fur pants or chaps too. Seen James Brown back in the early 70's too......and Jefferson Airlpane when Grace got arrested in Akron at the Rubber Bowl and the concert ended VERY early. They had tons of kids tryin top sneak in and climb the walls so the cops maced em but the mace drited down into the bleacher seats where the paying fans sat and it created a stampede. I almost got trampled it was so bad !!! Seen Rolling Stones too......I don't remember much of that one.....ha-ha......camped out all weekend but never slept. Ahhhhhh those were the days !!! Seen alot of bands thru the years........BB King........Johnny Winter several times.....Robin Trower......Savoy Brown and Jackson Brown also. Seen alot of famous blues players too many to mention or even remember rite off hand to list. Seen Kiss and Ted Nugent......Alice Cooper was memeorable with the big balls he'd toss out in the audience with mill worms inside to cover ya when one broke !!!! Seen Yes a few times (sound was totally awesome).......Allman Brothers and Lynard Skynard (spelling...duh).......Santana and Phish rocked. Seen Reba several times too. Used to be a BIG concert goer till the crowds got scarey and places were gettin overcrowded you could tell. Missed goin to see Stevie Ray Vaughn the last concert here in Akron area before he died......seen John Mayall too......Pink Flyod Division Bell was like a dream it was so AWESOME.......was supposed to go see Janis Joplin way back in the school days but my boyfreind that was a total jerk stood me up and went with the guys only. Been around Pam

ps:  I'd kept all my ticket stubs to make a colouge someday to hang on the wall......but my sneaky daughter got into my stuff......the usual while we were out........and tossed em all in the trash so she didn't get caught with em and I'd know she'd went thru my personal stuff.  Bummer !!!!

Hey Jim, I have that show on videotape. The concert part is taken from the Riverport cameras, and is what was shown on the big screens. The second half, the riot footage, was shot via a camcorder stage right. It is truly awesome. At one point, you see a part of a chair that almost looks like a boomerang flying from a distance as it approachs and eventually hits the camera! The guy then moves behind the stage. The last 10 minutes of footage is after the place is cleared out, they are walking around and surveying the damage. Talk about a wild event!
My buddy Fred, who is a bootleg hound for Brown Mabel Label, told me he is getting a dvd copy that is supposedly better quality, so if you want a copy, just let me know. Right now to copy the video, I need another vcr, as my old JVC died.

One show I forgot to add that was very memorable was 1993 at Riverport. White Zombie / Pantera / Megadeth.
White Zombie was horrible, and the only two people who stood up for the show were the two guys who bought WZ T-shirts. When Pantera came out, Phil was so drunk he puked after the 2nd song, but they still rocked. Then Megadeth came out and blew everyone away!!! Thier presence and technicality was incredible; and both Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman were shredding. At the end of the night, members of all three bands came out, picked up different instruments and did AC/DC's "Sin City." I remember laughing at Dave Mustaine, who played drums for the song when he came up to the mic and said "Lars would be proud." Was a very memorable show. 2nd row.

Peace,

... the most memerable.   I would have to say the last Crue concert (I mean the LAST - that was when Tommy and Vince got into it after they bialed Nikki out for ensigting a riot and never got back on stage again).

Puddle of Mudd was a blast here at the House of Blues, got to meet the band,

Last concert I went to was Tommy Lee at the House of Blue. I was 8 months pregnant. Even now if we put in that CD my son jumps up and starts dancing. It is great.

Fuckeneh I'd like to have a copy of that. That was the 1st year they opened Riverport and that was the 1st show I saw out there.
What a memorable night that was...Axle even mentioned St Louis in the liner notes of the Use Your Illusion lp's.
Also saw GnR open for Aerosmith at the old Arena a few years before that and they just blew Aerosmith away. That was one hot band in their day.
