This is a glass rail system from hell that would have looked like shit if anyone else was building it. From the start it was down hill, all demension I was given to build the aluminum shoe which the glass sits in were wrong (Re-work).....So that means all the glass would be the wrong size cause it was already ordered, when the second round of glass showed up two pannles exploded during instillation. Next, the sheetmetal guy took three tries to get the cladding right (Metal caseing that goes over the aluminum shoe (Nice).....Then I have to throw the glass guys off the job because they were fucking hacks (Now I get to do their work)....This is just the tip of the iceberg when it came to problems on this job (Did I mention I had another job just as fucked up on the other side of Boston?....LOL) When it rains it fucking pours (As they say) Well, its done and we almost hit our completion date of April 16th.....LMMFAO A few pictures of a headache that ive had for three months. Do it right or dont do it at all!!! ....................................jonny

Looks as good as a Julius Blum product. Likely nobody wanted to check the shop drawings. You saved the designers ass. He is now bragging how great a designer he is. Put a boot in his ass jonny. ADA compliant too. Excellent work jonny. Steve G

bob, I know you tried to prevent undie-twisting but just give me a sec to fix mine. I am an engineer but I see myself as a craftsman, anyone who works with the elements and loves what they build, I always consider a craftsman. Thanks for allowing me that sec.

john123,... I hear you. I know what I am about to say may be oversimplified, after all the Boing 777 was designed all on CAD and no mock-ups were required. But computers have allowed people who should never design anything in to the design profession. The pencil and a piece of paper, orthographic projection, descriptive geometry, all passed over for electronic glitz. Art and craftsmanship use to be the ultimate talent sieve. Dude you are gifted I mean it. Just out of curiousity that wasn't Fidelity was it. The interior looks the same. I did a roof top garden there on the 13th floor, total nightmare. Not the job, Gilbane the construction manager. Too many chiefs not enough indians, everybody fights over who's the boss, therefore a whole lot of nothin' gets done. Then they wonder whats taking so long. Sean
