Graduation!!!

Hi all!! I'm graduating today (May 15, 2004) at noon from Penn State!!! I'm sooooooooo excited.  I drove up today with my family, and I gave a few family members a tour of the campus. Then we all had a very nice dinner and a few drinks at the hotel. 
I'm spending my very last night in my apartment tonight!! I'm kinda sad about leaving here, but what an exciting time I am going to have with the start of nursing school. I'm sure I will have many stories to share with you all.
Anyhow, just wanted to share my happy day with my family! I'm sure I'll have pics to post after the ceremony!

Last night in the apartment? Trash it, or at least show'em what a rebel is and leave the ice cube trays empty.

That is great Liz. I was not able to actually take part in any graduation. All they did was send me my deploma. Of course I graduated in August and did not get the actual deploma until March.
Anyway. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You deserve it. You teach all those nurses what a cluster is and get some people int he field that understand that this is not just a M....... (the dreaded M word).
Have a blast and give everyone lots of hugs.
Areyou going straight into Nursing school in August or are you taking a break?
I hope that you are PF tomorrow. It is a day that you dont want to forget an a HA shoud not be the predominant thing that comes to mind 10 years from now.

Get this for a shocker...nursing school starts in a week!! Hahahaha...this outta be interesting. I move to Philly this coming Thursday, and orientation is Monday, the 24th with class to follow. My neuro was shocked that I am not taking any time off. However, this program only starts in May so it is now or wait another year. I'm a little scared because I have been feeling awful for a long time, and I've never gone more than 5 or 6 months without a hospital stay to improve the head pain. For the next 12 months, can't do that!! So, I think I'll be hanging out here a lot to try to get through the year!
It's sure going to be fun, though. I want to go into headache medicine, so I'll definately be interested in helping people with CH!
Anyhoww...gotta leave for the pre-graduation reception in a few minutes. Going to be a fun day!!

Hey all! I did it!! I am now officially a Penn State grad! The day was reallllllllllllly long, but it was fun!
For my graduation present, I got a yamaha clavinova! Here is the website for what it looks like and details on it:

It is really cool!! And now I'll be able to play the piano in my apartment!!
