No more showers with my little pals, it seems when one died six months ago not even a parakeet could take up the slack for the other. I raised them both from the time they hatched, hand fed them around the clock till they were able to fend for themselves. I will bury him next to her and make another stainless cross, it was a great nine years. They will be missed!

awwww Jonny I am so sorry...that brought a tear to my eye. I had a couple of birds when I lived in Cyprus years ago. I used to put them on the back of the cat while he was eating. The cat would just let them stand on his back.
I will say a prayer to the bird god to look after them for you.

So sorry to hear about the lose of your buddy Jonny. My family have had a couple of budgies for the last few years and they always cheer me up in the morning when I take the cover off. Thier always in a good mood and it kinda rubs off.Raising them from chicks makes it that much tougher

I'm sorry hun. It is so hard to lose a part of yourself with them. There are times when I still think I hear my old cat that passed away 6 years ago. Just makes me realize that she is still with me, no matter what. Dont be so sure that they will not check up on you.
