I really like Relpax as an abortive as it seems to hang with ya and keep the beast away for a good 8-10 hours or so after the initial dose.

the drawback is it only comes in tablet form and takes about 20 min to kick in.  The good is the side effects of it..ie racing heart, throat tightness, etc. not near as bad with relpax compared to trex or zomig.

i am also finding good help with zonegran but i see you have already tried it.

good luck with the new neuro

Hope you check this before you go!

I would agree with Kevin.  Talk with him about Verap and Lith.  They have worked for me also.

He increased my doses of Zonegran, Lopressor and wants me to have another Sleep Study to titrate my CPAP.

Then come on back in two more weeks. Roll Eyes

So we will just have to see.

Thanks for your help guys!!

Bleaugh.

Neurologists are often wierd, which is fine so long as they care and possess some level of competence. Not sure about this one. I'd look around.

Let us know how you're doing.
