For those of you who would rather download the recital online rather than have me send you a cd...John (jzakhar) has hosted it for me again.  Here is the link to download the recital I just played!

Thanks so much John!!  Final culmination of 5 years as a piano performance major, and 17 years of playing, total.  It has been very strange not to be practicing this week!! Smiley

Hey Pegase,
Thanks for your message!  Beethoven was the one I worked on the most, and it was definately the most difficult!  My teacher told me the day before my recital that the Beethoven was what he was most proud of.  I was very happy with how it went! Smiley

As soon as I start playing again, I'm going to learn the piano part for Beethoven's Ghost Piano Trio.

Jonny,

A lot of rockers are classically trained pianists.  (Eddie Van Halen, Alice Cooper, others).  It's not surprising to see a metal-head enjoy some classical now and then.  It's great, truly great music.

Carrie, you rock.  Smiley

You all make me smile Smiley

Not too many people really appreciate this stuff!  When I first came to Penn State 5 years ago, my teacher made me start from complete scratch because I had really bad technique.  I played with my wrists locked, and I could only play for 15 minutes without having to stop because my arms hurt or got tired.  Nobody ever thought I would go so far!  (They didn't know what a stubborn person I am Wink )  My teacher now says I am the most tenacious student he's ever had.  (Even after 5 years of college..I had to look up the meaning of tenacious!)

For graduation, I asked my parents to buy me some sort of keyboard or clavinova so that I can keep playing in Philly.  I also found out that my apartment building has a grand piano that we can sign up to use for 1 hour a day.

Shawn, I'm recording on the disklavier tomorrow because I don't have any exams at all tomorrow.  I didn't forget! Smiley

Pepp, if you read this...I didn't forget your cd!  I will be a ble to send it as soon as I go home this weekend.
