The fricken beast is keeping me from getting normal sleep, but hey, what's new? I get my 'Trex refilled Monday, and not a day too soon either. One thing I have been trying is, since I am getting attacks on the left side, is when I lie down, instead of lying flat on my back I lie on my right side. Seems to work for awhile, until I wake up reaching for the 'Trex with another attack. I have to call this week to find out if the fricken Neuro's office ever got the written referral from my GP so I can get a damn appointment. I swear people in the medical system drag thier asses. I'm just hoping this hack can do something for me, as opposed to the last Neuro who just shrugged his shoulders with an "I dunno" answer to every question. Sometimes think I'd be better off seeing Dr. Krevorkian. Peace, Carl D

Have you tried sleeping in a chair? I did this last cycle and it really helped. I slept in my home "office" chair for about 7 weeks with my O2 tank by my side. It cut down on the number of attacks during the night and when they awakened me the tank was there for the instant gas-up I needed. I got more sleep than I would have going back and forth to bed, I think. I pulled out a desk drawer and placed a gardening knee pad on it for a foot rest. It wasn't great, but I know I got more rest than I ever had before during a bad cycle. Bill

Hang in there Carl .. .and ride the gp's butt about getting what you need . . .do it like: where are we in the process? what can i do to help expidite this? and call daily . . .I know it's a pain . . but it works. As for sleep .. . D has worn out more glider-rockers . . . but, he could at least get some rest . . .Maybe try leaning forward, with pillows for supports? *positive light & energy* miapet

Hi there amigo Verapamil Retard 120mgX5-7/daily during cycle Oxygene alone at 10ltm for at least 15 minutes on a nonbreathermask or combined with imitrex-shots does miracles. The shots should start working in 6-9minutes.a few seconds after that you are almost painfree Prednisolone in high doze for 10 days 80mg then over a 3 weeks periode step down like 60-40-30-20-10-5mg every 3dh day Tapering down the verap im on full dozage 7 days after my last hit, then over the next 5 weeks im down to 1/daily. after 1 week on Verap retard 120mgX1 and still no hits i can quit that to The very best from Svenn

Damn Carl. All I had was my recliner but I got some good sleep that way. One less each night as a rule. Of course it was probably my Martha Stewart videos that did the trick. Charlie
