Thanks Linda. I've heard of Faith Hill. She was into gospel stuff I think.
There was a time when I followed CW. I haven't been excited about it for many years. I like Bob Wills....Asleep At the Wheel...etc type stuff anyway.

About 25 years ago, a Wichita Falls DJ corresponded with me through the old Antique Trader. I bought a tape from him and eventually, he sold me about 30 Playboy cassetts. He told me he had almost everything ever recorded......let alone published. He used them on his nostalgia shows. There were hundreds and hundreds of songs. I came to them a bit late but was a rabid fan for several years.

He's the "Bastard" son of the late, great New York Mets & Philadelphia Phillies pitcher...Tug McGraw. Oh yeah...I heard he sings pretty good, too.

Guess again. I was raised on Hank Williams Sr., Hank Snow, Lefty Frezzel, Bob Wills, Tennessee Earnie Ford, Ray Price, Patsy Cline, etc, etc, ad nauseum.
I've pretty much gone full circle a few times over with what I listen to and now I have pretty eclectic tastes in music. I listen to just about everything these days - country, rock, soul, Blues, R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop, even some selected rap. Just depends on what mood I am in.
