Flying and 02

I will be flying to Ca. the first part of June and my question is: Do the airlines let you take your 02 tank with you. If not do they give you o2 if the beast hits in flight. Also how do you get o2 in a different state if the airlines don't let you take it with you. I have not called the airlines yet for I'm not sure which one I am using. I know that some of you have done this, so I am asking for advice. Thanks Deacon

S.A.S told me that they need a confirmation from my doc that i need O2 available on the plain IF needed. Then everything would be OK they said. Maybe something to think about? Svenn

You need to check with the company you'll be flying with to see what their policy is. All airlines carry O2 on board but getting it for a "headache" could be a problem. I do remember one of our guys posting that he finally complained of breathing difficulties before the flight attendent got him the on board O2. Good luck and hope you don't get hit in flight. Kip
